Michael Sobel

Over the past 11 years at Scenic, Mike has spearheaded efforts in sourcing, pricing, trading, and executing hundreds of transactions of private companies, including notable names such as Anthropic, Fanatics, SpaceX, and Dataminr.

Before Scenic, Mike held leadership roles at BlackRock, where he was the Global Head of Fixed Income for Index and iShares, managing the largest fixed income beta business worldwide. He also served as Head of Americas Equity Trading, overseeing a team specializing in equities, derivatives, and commodities within a global regulatory framework.

Mike lives in Marin County with his wife and three children. He can be found commuting across the Golden Gate Bridge most days, rain or shine.
